Please sing the post title to the melody of "Camptown Races". Today marks the release of PopCap's newest game, Plants vs. Zombies 2. Unlike its predecessor, Plants vs. Zombies (1), the new game is another freemium free-to-play game. I haven't completed the download so I don't know if this will be an annoying mechanic, but I have a considerable amount of joy stored from previous PopCap games that I am willing to throw a small degree of money at them without restraint.
Plants vs. Zombies was a charming game where you tried to protect a home from an invasion of zombies. Plants are utilized for defensive and offensive purposes; very large nuts can act as walls. Peashooters shoot peas. Plants vs. Zombies 2 promises to have more plants, more zombies, and more settings to play. In time. Or whatever the gimmick is. I don't think it's time-manipulative like Braid. Don't be absurd.
Right, time to go check on the download and connect all the devices for the install. TTFN
