Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl wrote Beautiful Creatures which was adapted into a film this year. It tells the story of the noble Ethan Wate who has the misfortune of falling in love with a crazy witch or something to that effect. Beautiful Creatures was followed by Beautiful Darkness, Beautiful Chaos, and Beautiful Redemption. These four make up the "Caster Chronicles."
Kami Garcia recently published a new book, Unbreakable . Margaret Stohl also published a new book this year, Icons . Both of these are the first in their various series.
