So I've been thinking a lot about Ender's Game lately. I keep thinking about how they've possibly ruined the book and also whether or not I should see the movie. Then for a totally different reason I was looking up author Jesse Andrews and saw an old blog post of his from last summer re: Orson Scott Card's HoustonTBC speech. Yikes. It's full of swearing and I know I'm way better off getting the short version from Jesse than giving myself a headache looking for the full speech. I think I'm going to watch the movie anyway but I'm going to wait until it hits the $2 theater in Pasadena. I love you, Ender, but your maker not so much.
And I bought 4 tickets to go see Catching Fire.
