Thuy's review:

Vegetable Glue is the hilarious and adorable story of what happens to one little girl when she doesn't eat her fruits and veggies. Her body runs out of vegetable glue and things start to fall apart, literally. With a little help from her extremely fit grandma, the little girl learns the importance of eating her vegetables.

I picked up this book on a whim while at the used bookstore with a friend. We sat on the floor and laughed out loud as we read this unique and clever story. The story rhymes which makes it a fun an fast read. It's well paced and the story flowed easily from page to page.

UK Edition from 2004

And it was just FUNNY. There is a part where the little girl's bum falls off and my friend and I almost died looking at the illustration of the little round bum on the ground. I think children will really like the fun story as well as the illustrations.

And even though it's a funny story, it has a really great lesson that isn't too preachy. After reading Vegetable Glue, children and adults alike will remember to eat their veggies. It's a really excellent read that I highly recommend.
